About Zarna Jewels
Zarna Jewels is the fine jewellery brand of Sheladiya Diamond in Surat, India. These are the questions customers most often ask about who we are and how we work.
How long have you been in the diamond industry?
Since 1983, through our parent company, Sheladiya Diamond. Zarna Jewels brings more than 40 years of diamond cutting and polishing experience to fine jewellery made with laboratory-grown diamonds.
Where do your diamonds come from?
We do not buy diamonds from third parties. Our laboratory-grown diamonds are grown with the CVD process, then cut and polished in-house at Sheladiya Diamond in Surat, the city where most of the world’s diamonds are cut.
Why are your prices lower than many jewellers?
Because we cut, polish and set our own diamonds and sell directly to you, there are no middlemen to pay. Prices are built from the metal by weight, the diamond by its grade and our making charges.
Where are you based?
Our workshop and showroom are in Surat, India. We deliver to customers across India and around the world, including the USA, the UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.
Do I need an appointment to see your jewellery?
Not required, but we recommend booking so that a specialist has time for you. Book an appointment online for a video call or a visit to our Surat showroom.
What will I see during an appointment?
A selection of engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, bracelets, pendants and loose laboratory-grown diamonds, chosen around what you are looking for, and help with custom designs.
Are your diamonds certified?
An IGI grading report can be added to your diamond at checkout for a fee. It records the 4Cs and states the laboratory-grown origin. Our gold and silver are hallmarked for purity.
Can I return a ring after it has been resized?
No. The first resize within 30 days is free, but a resized ring, like an engraved or bespoke piece, can no longer be returned, because it has been altered for you. If you may want to return a ring, check the size before asking for a resize.
What is your supply chain?
Short and in-house: the CVD rough comes from established growers, cutting and polishing happen at Sheladiya Diamond, then design, setting and finishing in our own workshop in Surat.

Orders & delivery
Do you deliver to my country?
Yes. We deliver within India and worldwide, including the USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel, with trusted couriers such as FedEx, DHL and UPS. The delivery charge for your address is shown at checkout before you pay.
Every parcel is fully insured until it is signed for, so a signature is needed on delivery. If nobody is in, the courier takes it to the nearest collection point, where you can collect it with photo ID. See delivery information.
How long will my order take?
Most pieces are made to order for you:
- Ready-to-ship pieces: 3–5 working days
- Standard jewellery orders: 2–3 working weeks
- Bespoke and custom designs: 3–4 working weeks
When your piece is ready we email you a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.
Can I get my order sooner?
Choose a piece from our ready-to-ship collection, delivered within 3–5 working days, or email care@zarnajewels.com to ask about express production. We will confirm what is possible before you order.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
Our prices include Indian GST. Orders delivered outside India may be charged import duties and local taxes by your country’s customs; these are not part of our price and are usually paid to the courier on delivery. If you would like an idea of what to expect, contact our team before you order.
Where is my order?
Once your piece has been dispatched you can follow it at any time with the tracking link we email you. For an update on a made-to-order piece, email care@zarnajewels.com two weeks after ordering (three weeks for bespoke designs) and our team will help.
Can you deliver to a different address from my billing address?
Yes, with extra verification for your security. We may ask for a copy of the cardholder’s photo ID, a recent utility bill or bank statement (from the last three months) and a signed letter authorising delivery to the other address. Our customer care team will send you a template letter.
Returns, resizing & guarantee
What is your returns policy?
You can return a piece within 30 days. It must be unworn and unused, in perfect condition, with its original tag attached. Our quality team checks every return, which usually takes 10–14 working days.
Once your return is approved, we refund your original payment method within 7–10 working days. You can choose an exchange or store credit instead. See refunds and returns.
Which pieces cannot be returned?
Engraved, bespoke, customised, resized and special-order pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. Loose diamonds can be returned only in their original sealed packaging with their certificate.
How do I send a piece back?
Pack it securely in its original box, add a note with your order number and the reason for the return, and send it with a tracked and insured courier to: Zarna Jewels – Returns Department, 301-Siddharth Complex, Above Navrang Khaman, Hirabaugh, Surat, India.
For security, please don’t write “Zarna Jewels”, “diamonds” or “jewellery” anywhere on the parcel.
What if my ring doesn’t fit?
We resize once free of charge within 30 days of receiving your ring, by up to two sizes up or down, where the design allows. Larger changes, and resizing after 30 days, start from ₹6,000. Full eternity rings cannot be resized because of their continuous setting and may need to be remade. We always tell you any cost before we start. See free ring resizing and our ring size guide.
What does your lifetime guarantee cover?
If your jewellery ever has a manufacturing defect, we repair it free of charge for life. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear, such as scratches, bent prongs or broken chains. If a repair falls outside the guarantee, we quote before starting. Payments
How can I pay?
Payments are taken securely through Razorpay. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards, Indian and international debit cards, net banking, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Paytm and others) and wallets.
Which currency will I pay in?
Prices are shown in your local currency, and checkout shows the total you will pay before you confirm. If your card uses a different currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge a small conversion fee.
Can I pay in instalments?
If your bank offers EMI (monthly instalments) on your card, the plans appear in the Razorpay window at checkout, and some wallets and UPI apps offer pay-later options. See jewellery finance.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Every payment is processed on Razorpay’s encrypted platform, certified to the PCI DSS card security standard, and Zarna Jewels never sees or stores your full card details.
Our diamonds
Is a laboratory-grown diamond a diamond?
Yes. A laboratory-grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and sparkle as a natural diamond; only its origin is different, and its grading report says so. Ours are grown with the CVD process by established growers in India, then cut and polished in-house by our parent company, Sheladiya Diamond. Read our laboratory-grown diamond guide.
Are your diamonds certified?
You can add an IGI report for your diamond at checkout; it grades the cut, colour, clarity and carat, states the laboratory-grown origin and has a number you can check on IGI’s website. Our gold and silver are hallmarked for purity. Our diamond guide explains the grades.
Can you make a custom design?
