These terms apply to every purchase from zarnajewels.com, run by Sheladiya Diamond (brand: Zarna Jewels), 301 - Siddharth Complex, ABove Navrang Khaman, Hirabaugh, Varachha Road, Surat, India. Email care@zarnajewels.com, phone +91 8733947879. By placing an order you accept these terms; please read them before you pay. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

1. Our products

  • Every diamond we sell is a laboratory-grown diamond, grown by the CVD process, cut and polished by Sheladiya Diamond in Surat. We do not sell mined diamonds.
  • Metals are 9K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, and 925 sterling silver; gold and silver are hallmarked. White gold is rhodium plated.
  • Most pieces are made to order. Photographs and 3D views show the design; small differences in finish are part of handmade jewellery, and the stone size follows the carat you choose.
  • An IGI grading report is optional and is added at checkout for a fee, where the design allows it.

2. Prices, currency and payment

  • Prices are shown in the currency of the country you are shopping from, or the one you choose, and include Indian GST. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Import duties and taxes outside India are not included (see section 4).
  • You pay in full when you order, in the currency shown at checkout, through Razorpay by card, UPI, net banking or wallet. Your bank may add a currency-conversion fee if your card is in another currency. Instalment (EMI) plans are offered by your bank, on its terms.
  • Production starts once payment is confirmed. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, where there is a pricing or stock error, a suspected fraud or a payment problem; we will tell you.
  • Promotional codes and vouchers follow the terms of the offer they belong to; they cannot be combined unless the offer says so.

3. Making and delivery times

  • Ready-to-ship pieces leave us in 3–5 working days; standard made-to-order pieces in 2–3 working weeks; bespoke designs in 3–4 working weeks from design approval.
  • Delivery after dispatch takes about 3–7 working days in India and 5–10 working days abroad, depending on the courier and customs. Dates we give are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs or events outside our control, but we will keep you informed.
  • Every parcel is insured and tracked until it is signed for. A signature is required. If nobody is available, the courier holds the parcel for collection with photo ID.
  • Full details are on our delivery page.

4. Duties and taxes outside India

Orders delivered outside India may be charged import duties, VAT or sales tax and clearance fees by the destination country. These are set and collected by that country’s authorities or the courier, are not part of our price, and are paid by you. If a parcel is refused or abandoned at customs, the return shipping and any charges are deducted from your refund.

5. Cancelling an order

  • You can cancel a made-to-order piece until production has started, from your orders or by email, for a full refund.
  • Once production has started, a standard piece can still be returned under section 6 after delivery. Bespoke, engraved, customised and resized pieces cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, because they are made or altered for you only.
  • Customers in the UK and the EU: you have a legal right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. This right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised (bespoke, engraved, customised or resized pieces). Our 30-day return window (section 6) gives you longer than the legal minimum for standard pieces.

6. Returns and refunds

  • A standard piece can be returned within 30 days of delivery if it is unworn, unused, in perfect condition and with its original tag. Engraved, bespoke, customised, resized and special-order pieces, and loose diamonds whose sealed packaging has been opened, cannot be returned.
  • You pay the return postage and insurance and send the piece by tracked courier to the address on our returns page. Our quality team checks it within 10–14 working days of arrival.
  • Once approved, we refund the price of the piece to your original payment method within 7–10 working days. The original delivery charge and any duties or taxes you paid abroad are not refunded. If you prefer, we exchange the piece or give store credit instead.
  • Orders placed under a promotion follow that promotion’s published terms as well, which may provide for a deduction; the terms are published on the returns page while the promotion runs.
  • The full policy is on our Refunds & Returns page; where this section and that page differ, that page applies.

7. Ring resizing

We resize most rings once free of charge within 30 days of delivery, by up to two sizes. Extra metal or stones needed for a larger size, and postage to us, are charged at cost. Full eternity bands cannot be resized. A resized ring can no longer be returned. See free ring resizing.

8. Lifetime manufacturing guarantee

Every piece is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the piece: we repair such defects free of charge. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear, loss or theft, or work done by another jeweller; repairs outside the guarantee are quoted first. Postage to us is paid by you. See the guarantee page.

9. Insurance

Your jewellery is insured by us against loss, theft and damage until it is signed for on delivery. After that it is in your care; we recommend insuring it, and we include a free valuation report for that purpose.

10. Your account and the website

  • Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
  • All text, photographs, renders, designs and logos on the site belong to Sheladiya Diamond and may not be copied or used without written permission.
  • We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or interruptions.

11. Liability

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for indirect or business losses, or for delays caused by couriers, customs or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, email care@zarnajewels.com and we will try to put it right within 14 days. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Surat, Gujarat having jurisdiction. If you live in the UK or the EU, you keep the right to bring a claim under the mandatory consumer laws of your own country, and EU customers may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you order applies to your order; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
