Getting a ring size exactly right is not always easy, especially when the ring is a surprise. To help, Zarna Jewels offers one free resize within 30 days of receiving your ring. Whether a ring can be resized, and by how much, depends on its design; this page explains the rules for each type of ring, the fees after 30 days and how to send your ring to us.

Engagement and diamond rings
Plain engagement bands can be resized free of charge by up to two sizes within 30 days. Rings set with diamonds or gemstones are assessed first, because stones near the back of the band may need to be reset; resizing by up to two sizes within 30 days is still free. Changes of more than two sizes may cost extra or need the ring to be remade.
Eternity rings
A full eternity ring has stones all the way round, so there is no plain metal to cut and rejoin. It cannot be resized and may need to be remade, from ₹6,000 within 30 days. Half and three-quarter eternity rings are assessed individually: depending on the design they can be resized or need to be remade, and we agree any charge with you first.
Wedding rings
Plain wedding bands are resized free by up to two sizes within 30 days; larger changes start from ₹6,000. Diamond or gemstone wedding rings are inspected first to confirm resizing is possible.
Custom-made rings
Custom and bespoke rings can be resized free by up to two sizes within 30 days, if the design allows. Larger changes may cost extra or need a remake, and we will explain the options and costs before doing anything.
After 30 days
Resizing after 30 days starts from ₹6,000. If a ring cannot be resized, it may need to be remade, with a charge that depends on the design.
How to send your ring for resizing
- Pack the ring securely in its original box or a similar protective box.
- Add a note with your order number, your contact details and the new size you need.
- Send it with a tracked and insured courier to the address below.

For security, do not write “Zarna Jewels”, “diamonds” or “jewellery” on the parcel. Resizing usually takes 10–14 working days once we receive the ring.
Frequently asked questions
Why only two sizes?
Stretching or shrinking a ring by more than two sizes can weaken the band and disturb stone settings, so larger changes are usually done by remaking part or all of the ring.
Can I resize my ring more than once?
The free resize is once, within 30 days. Later resizes are charged, and we recommend keeping them to a minimum because each one puts strain on the metal and settings.
Will a resized ring still be returnable?
No. A resized ring cannot be returned or exchanged; see our returns policy.
