JCK Las Vegas 2025 (June 6–9): What to Watch at America's Biggest Jewelry Show
Every June the American jewelry trade descends on Las Vegas. Here is what JCK is, what we expect to hear about this year, and why a trade show matters to people buying one ring.
This week the American jewelry trade heads to Las Vegas for JCK, the biggest jewelry trade show in North America. The main show runs June 6 to 9 at The Venetian Expo, with the invitation-only JCK Luxury section opening a little earlier. You cannot buy a ring there, but what happens on the show floor shapes what you will see in stores and online for the next year.
What is JCK?
JCK is a trade-only event: thousands of exhibitors, from global diamond manufacturers to independent designers, show their collections to retailers, who place orders for the coming seasons. Alongside the exhibition there are seminars on everything from marketing to gemology, industry awards, and plenty of informal deal-making. For a few days, it is the clearest snapshot of where American jewelry is heading.
The big topics this year
Lab-grown diamonds after Lightbox
Last month De Beers announced it would close Lightbox, its lab-grown jewelry brand, citing a steep fall in wholesale prices. Expect lab-grown to be everywhere on the show floor anyway, from engagement rings to fashion pieces, and expect lively debate about how retailers should price and explain it.
Natural diamonds and origin
Natural diamond producers have been leaning hard into rarity and traceability. Look for more "mine-to-finger" tracking stories and certificates of origin.
Design: gold, color and bold shapes
Yellow gold has dominated in recent seasons, alongside chunky chains, toi et moi rings and elongated center stones such as ovals and pears. We expect more color too, including champagne and pink lab-grown diamonds.
Trade and tariffs
With trade policy shifting this year, retailers will be asking suppliers about costs and lead times. It is a reminder that global supply chains affect the price on the tag.
